The 7th-8th grade aged Vernal Raiders football team ended the season with a string of wins last week that will send the young team to Vernal’s “Super Bowl” this Saturday.

The team fought through the 2009 season, winning all but one game along the way.

Parents of team members praised the coaching staff, complimenting their time spent and skill at coaching the young team.

The team will play in the upcoming Super Bowl on October 10, at 1:00 p.m. on the Uintah High School football field.
